LOLOLOL

'CAR PARTS'. That's priceless. I'm not really into the artist's style but her stuff has a lot of emotion in it. The 'clinging together laughing' picture had me smiling pretty hard.

Yes! I'm grinning at the "car parts" too!

There's nice emotion in the characters' faces in this art, I like it. And I think I'll read the fic based entirely off of the drawings.

I couldn't get past part I. The dialogue's stilted, the narrative's choppy, the premise doesn't make sense (Claire is in trouble for participating in class? Unless she's spouting profanity and outright disrespect for her teacher, I can't imagine a situation where this would happen), and the author needs a refresher course on the comma.

Cute art, though. I still love the faces!

Dear nonnies,

I love AUs, and Wacky Twin Hijinks sounds right up my alley, but I bailed out of this in the first couple of paragraphs due to mediocre writing. Let me know if my first impression was wrong and it's worth pressing on.

Hmmm... not really. I read whole thing through even though I thought about stopping towards the start. You didn't miss much.

]]SPOILERS[[

Any tension that stems from the plot itself (that Cas is impersonating his brother Jimmy) only lasts for a little while before Ellen discovers the truth... by looking at his driver's liscence. It's all too simple and nothing makes you feel for the characters in any strong way. The writing is pretty bad, and I was cringing some of the time.

Also I kind of hated Claire, and the whole plot that brought Cas and Dean together. For Claire to get a dention for two weeks for geting into aggressive debates in class makes me wonder just what the hell she's doing to those kids. Is she throwing her books? Casting spells? Spray-painting their lockers? Using curse words that Dean has to look up? Unless I'm mis-interrpreting the detention time. Where I went to school, it was done on an hourly basis, and you came in and did your hours on Saturday.

Overall, this story isn't horrible, but I wouldn't give it more praise than saying it was 'okay'.

okay, I don't get this: why would Dean went on a date with Cas when he thought he was Jimmy, a married man AND the father of his student? It doesn't make sense and I can't read beyond that!

The art is... not good, but there is something so childishly earnest about it that I feel like I'm kicking puppy (or bunny) for criticizing it.
